Niplette was absolute c**p-- I think the company has written these reviews. It works immediately afterwards but certainly not permanently. I had grade 2 and grade 3 and had bilateral correction surgery 9 days ago. I was told it was likely I could not breastfeed to start with and the surgery would make this no more/less likely. They are now extremely everted but also very scabby as I think the bandaging ripped some of the skin/was knocked. I cannot find anything similar online but have been told this can take several weeks to heal. I took an antibiotic so it is not an infection. I am very miserable with this, much more so than before, and was expecting instantly great results. I went to a very renowned specialist-- perhaps I got unlucky.

Hello. I've only just found this. I used the Nipplette both before and after breast cancer surgery (lumpectomy). Before surgery, both breast responded normally, but the nipple tissue becoming so painful and cracked, making me unable to continue using it for the recommended period. After surgery, however, the affected breast became prone to bad infections, which I now believe was mastitis caused by a plugged ducts, with infection entering through the nipple. This has happened so many times, each occasion the different doctors that I have seen (we have a strange system in Britain!) going wide-eyed and seeming perplexed, that I have given up with the Nipplette, as it is such a harsh method of drawing out the tissue. Added to which, you have to make sure that the thimble stays sucked in place and doesn't fall off, the usual advice for which is to wear a close-fitting bra - this results in compression on the duct, making the problem worse. Hope this helps.

so I'm 19 and have been wearing the nipplette for roughly three weeks, missing a few nights here and there. Although I'm seeing significant improvement I'm quite worried about the discharge coming from my nipples, although the product says clear discharge is normal mine has a slight yellowish tint to it that I'm not sure is normal, does anyone have any input at all? and for the people who can't get the nipplette to stay on I highly recommend investing in a pair of nipple formers to keep the nipplette in place inside your bra. Hope this helps!

I am having the same issue! It's like a slightly yellowed clear fluid and it fills the thimbles. I got scared and stopped using the nipplette because of that. Also one of my nipples would have a tiny bit of yellowish white discharge and then fill up with the clear fluid, I'm not sure if this is normal or not. But I'm definitely concerned as well.
