An ultra sound revealed I had a small heart just prior to a stress test. though my blood pressure has been controled by a low dose Benicar, my blood pressure skyrocketed during the stress test and I was breathing very hard. We couldn't complete the entire test. But the following xrays didn't show any valve problems. Do my symptoms have to do with my small heart? I am over-weight with diabetis but do not smoke. Or am I that badly out of condition because I don't exercise much?

braffin it sounds to me like your issues are compounded by being overweight with diabetes. Since you already have a small heart, imagine how much pressure your extra pounds are putting on your heart too! I think that's what the issue is. Have you talked to your doctor aobut it or do you have any weightloss plans or anything lik ethat? I think it might be a good idea. Let us know what oyu decide, okay?
