I used Dermatend over 8 years ago to get rid of multiple moles, including on my face. The product does work very well if you follow the instructions to a T. However, you may need to take it a step further. If you keep applying the product for longer than the directions state, you will eliminate the chance of the mole growing back. Also, I do have some slightly noticeable scars from several removals because I kept picking at the scabs. Needless to say, these have vanished significantly over the years. Also, it depends on your skin type. Any big skin injury on my skin tends to leave a scar that grows out, leaving a bump that makes the scar more noticeable. This is not the case for everyone though. Buy it.

I heard that the FDA banned Dermatend because it would deter doctors from being able to detect cancer...  Such BS.. I personally think it's because the AMA doesn't want something like this that would take away medical business.

I have to disagree with what you say. I have used this product on 3 moles- all viewed by the doctor as non-threatening, but just annoying to me. I have have a great experience with DermaTrend with little to NO scarring. i do believe it is different on each person and moles should be checked by a doctor before using.

I've used Dermatend and it works as advertised. I bought it off of Amazon and was very hesitant and really didn't expect much from it. I'm happy to report that the moles I used it on are either flattened/lighter color or gone completely. I'm on day 2 currently of using Dermatend Ultra. I will be honest and say I'm a bit nervous, as the skin around it is very irritated...and it wasn't with the original formula. Either way, this stuff works and isn't a scam.

How well did it work for your flat ones?

I used the Dermatend Ultra and slept with it on under a bandaid overnight. My tube didn't come with instructions, so I googled them and read from someone that it works best that way. It completely both removed my moles (one was flat, one was lifted), however I still have very pink areas there 4 weeks later. I would suggest leaving it on for 45 minutes and then just covering it with a bandaid that you replace daily. Also, make VERY sure that you ONLY get it on the mole itself. It eats away your skin, so anywhere around the mole it touches will also be eaten away. It does work, but needs to be used with extreme care.

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to share my experience with dermatend with you, I am not usually one to write reviews but it is the reviews that pushed me to get the product and if it helped me then it can help others and boy it feels good not having that darn thing on my face! I got the small bottle which came with a free gift and I chose the scar healing cream, think it was about £35 and the bottle is really tiny but don't be fooled as it goes a very long way! I scratched the moles with the stick you get with it and also with the file you get, the only mistake I did make was i filed the whole area and the skin round the moles blistered but went down but cover the surrounding skin with a thin layer of vaseline and try to only get the mole.  If you do get the blisters do not be alarmed they will go down and fall off but it probably isnt great for the skin! I used the stick to dab the area until it was covered, I have 3 moles and one is dark and raised above my lip but small and then i have two flats, one next to my nose and one on my cheek which are light coloured but still noticible.  I used the dermatend first on the one above my lip and the one on my cheek to see how it healed and looked as the one next to my nose would be really noticible if something went wrong! Anyway so i dabbed on the cheek and lip mole until covered and it did sting a bit, nothing unbearable but you can feel it and then it goes off after about 30 mins or so. I kept this on for an hour which is slighly longer than recommended.  I then did this again after washing off but this time left it on for about 30 mins, by this time they were black.  Next morning they were hard and over the day they started to scab, I just kept putting the sccar cream on them every few hours or when they were dry.  Next morning they had gone a yellow gross puss colour round the mole and were really red and sore and I thought... damn what have I done! I kept putting the scar cream on and this morning I woke up the one above my lip the scab was off and the mole had gone, I literally couldnt believe it, I looked so different in my eyes and just rang everyone because I was so excited! I think this one went first because it had a bigger scab and was raised slightly but the other one I think will come off in the next day or so as it had loosened from the skin and still red but it is not ready yet and I dont want to force it and scar my cheek.  The one that came off has left a blemish, reddish at first but the redness has gone now, it looks like a spot was there but after a few weeks I am sure if I use that cream it will be very very tiny mark left if any.  I will update you on the flat one, if anyone wants pics I took some during the process I will update again once the flat one is gone and then will hopefully start on the one next to my nose!!! I still cannot stop looking at the one thats gone, it's like a photoshop for me it is unreal!!! Honest guys it works and its a great product

Hello, I have used this product two years ago and it worked wonders. I bought it to get rid of a mole on my face, but I decided to try it on one on my arm first. Both moles just dried off and fell out. One was quite large and it took about 10days. The other one was even bigger but surprisingly came off the next day. No scarring or whatever !! I

Don't knock it if you haven't tried it. I used Dermatend to remove two moles on my face in 2012. It worked great. I followed the directions, and the next day there was a scab. I wore a spot bandage on both areas for a few days, and the scab just fell off, leaving smooth, slightly pink skin below. Within a couple of weeks, both areas had completely healed, with no evidence that anything was ever there. It's been almost 3 years, and neither mole has returned. Great Product! I would buy it again!!!

This works!!! I've tried other products. Follow the directions carefully. I've done skin tags and moles. Tags dry up and fall off in 2 to 3 days. Larger moles take longer. (Tip: for small tags I use straight pins to roughen the skin instead of the file that it comes with)

I purchased Dermatend just over a year ago and used it on my face and stomach. I had a large mole on the side of my face and Dermatend took it off and left no scar. The ones on my stomach did leave a white mark however seems to now be not so obvious after a year. I thought this might be a scam but its not and does work. I have just been on the internet now and discovered that Dermatend is no longer available, FDA taken it off the market. I'm gutted cause I wanted to buy more as I have a few on my back that I want to get removed. So many things aren't approved these days and I think its up to the consumer if they still want to purchase the item and this item works so I'm happy to purchase more. Now I will have to go to a doctor and get them cut out which will definitely leave a scar, hurt and cost me over 10 times the money. I now wish I had bought more of them at the time.
