George, really? It is called a "scar". Did you really think that this product would leave your skin markless? Even if you had gone in to the derm or plastic surgeon's office you would be left with scars. Sad that this product is getting unfair reviews from people like you with completely unrealistic expectations.

Picky, I applied my first treatment this past Sunday. The scab formed overnight but is still there. Do you know if this is normal for it to still be there?

why dont you read the pamphlet that was supplied with your product from dermatend to find the answer?

It was gone when I woke up this morning.  Mole gone.  What is left is nothing worse than what I have had left over after having moles removed at derm office.  There does appear to be a tiny brown spot though...like maybe it didn't get all the way to the root of the mole...so this one might grow back.  Overall though this was way easier and cheaper than having it removed by a derm.

First of all, I wasn't expecting for my skin to be markless!?!?! Obviously I was aware of that... ALSO I Didn't want to mention this, but since you brought it up, I will....

The only reason for me writing the first post was the disappointment with the time that takes for the skin to ''heal'' after applying Dermatend.

I've already removed moles with a different product called ''Wart Mole Vanish''. The Moles did NOT grew back, and there was a barley traceable scar left, and it healed extremly quicly in comparison to Dermatend.

For example it took me less than a month (!!!!) for the mole to scab, fall of, and for the skin to heal and the redness to fade away... BUT with Dermatend It's been 3 MONTHS ( !!!! ) and the redness is still there it is BARELY fadeing, it actully seems as if it stop fadeing...

And, yes, I have used number of skin care products, and scar removal product etc...

So... I WAS expecting a scar, you would get a scar in any way of remove a mole... but i was NOT expecting the skin to be red for three months...

And frankly I dont care if the product is getting unfair reviews, because what I sad was true, and I never talked about the scars and the trace of mole removal, I talked about the redness of the skin which (as it says on package) should fade within 30 days...

So... To HELP all the people having the dilemma... Be EXTREMELY carefull on where you try Dermtend. I tried id on my face, and now i look worse then with moles. And thats my life for last 3 months.... Barely left the house...

Unfair review?

I dont think so, I'd say its dead on.

Do NOT use Dermtend. It does not work the same for everyone...

Avoid Dermtend especially on your face.

Try anything else, literally... I used a product called ''wart mole vanish '' on my face before, and it was much better the dermatend, and the scar has faded so much that I would have to show you where the mole was, because otherwise you wont see it...

I used dermatend on different parts on my body, one on my belly , one on my arm, and few on my face...
I did everything like the manual said and so on, and everything seem to be working great for the first week, moles have fallen of in matter of days and it seemed fine... Now, it has been more then 3 months, and i literally have red stains on my face instead of moles, because the skin stopted fadeing and it seems as if it reached the maximum point of ''healing process''...
And just to prove my point, NONE of those scars or ''redness'' on ANY part of my body hasn't gone away... So it doesn't matter where you use it...

However... Even though i saw similar reviews with mine in the past, I have ignored them and tried dermatend, BIG MISTAKE.

It is extremely risky thing to do, now instead of moles i have red stains/circles/redness on my face - ''great''.

O yeah... And forget about the whole ''get you money back thing if your are not satisfied'' ... they will NOT give you your money back... I made the mistake of buying TWO tubes of dermtend, spent a lot of money, plus international shipping. And what did I get??? Regret.

Again, I REPEAT:
THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK!!!!!!

Be very careful...

The trick to not getting scars is to not let it scab. If you keep it moist with the healing paste or neosporin it will heal under a bandaid without scabbing.
