My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years, the first 3 months I was not on the pill and luckily did not get pregnant then. For 2 years after that I was on the pill, and now for the last 4 - 5 months I have been off the pill, we have unprotected sex, I am still not pregnant and hoping to be, is there a problem?

We normally don't begin to consider fertility issues until 12 months has passed without success.
If you do want to see a fertility specialist, you can expect a complete physical with blood work and internal exam. Your partner, yes he has to go too, can also expect a sperm count.
The odds of pregnancy, when everything is "perfect" is about 1 in 5.

The best way to know for sure if you are pregnant is a hpt and a blood test to be 100 percent sure... The bleeding you had could possibly be spotting.

I don't believe you have a fertility issue just make sure you try again but when your ovulating since there is a high chance for you to get pregnant.
