I recently went to the gynecologist. He told me i might have endometriosis. I have a lap in February to diagnose it. He told me if i was thinking about conceiving and did have endo the best time would be after the laparoscopy because endometriosis can cause infertility in your later years. Which i already knew alot of people in my family have it. My gynecologist also has told me to take prenatals. I want to start a family after my lap if i do have endo i have wanted kids my whole life. My fiance is 21 and I'm 18 we both have full time jobs with benefits. I explained the situation to my family the were very supportive and then I explained it to his mom who told me I was not to have kids this young with her son. If it is my only chance would it be wrong to take advantage of it? My fiance said he is ready if I am.I really want children and understand the respnsibilities. What were the outcomes of ttc after your laparoscopy? ! o.O

With Engometriosis, it can be complicated, it is ALL about how far advanced it is and where the extra tissue is also! After they do the laproscopy, you HAVE to be careful! Becaue they move around your uterus and ALL your internal organs to see if there is any endo anywhere else! And your organs DO NOT!!!! like this! So it causes cramping, and discomfort etc. So when he says right after he's not talking the next day ;-) XD You need to have a regular cylce - to show you are ovulating ALSO this is a good indicator WHEN you get pregnant, of when your expected date is!
Also I'm NOT one to talk to about Mother In Laws! Mine was from and is from HELL!!!! :-S I call her "Elzibob!" So I will do my favorite motherinlaw salute to your mother in law!!! ;-) So since you guys are engaged, she doesn't want you guys to give her ANY grandchildren?!!!!! What did she think was going to happen! Anyway - SEE - it't not good asking me about MIL!!! Which I wish were MIA's!!! XD XD o.O ;-)
This WHOLE experience is about yours and your futures husbands future! He can't say to you "Well if you're OK with it, then I'm game!" he needs to be more decisive about it! He needs to want this like you do! BECAUSE if your MIL raises her jealous head, it is up to HIM to put her in her place! It can't be you! Also it cant be everyone thinking that you pushed the idea! He has to be 100% on board and supportive!
TTC's are VERY common after procedures - including etopic pregnancies, miscarriages, abortions etc etc. ! So give yourself till your healed from the stitches and then try! Start taking you prenatal vitamins - as mentioned - and when you make love you need to have your buttocks raised and stay as long as possible like that! I tell ALL couples who are trying to try as much as possible, don't wait for ovulation dates etc, because there is actuall about a 7 - 10 day window around the time sperm can live inside the uterus and tubes, and also the egg, and the conceived embryo! So be intimate as much as possible! Doctors used to think that the sperm wasn't as mobile if there was too much "activity" but about 2 weeks ago they now say that having sex more often, creates healthier and more fertile sperm!!!! So this is a perfect time, and I also think you fiance will TOTALLY agree with my theory!!! ;-) XD So talk away and get on the same page - before the surgery, so you are both ready after! It has nothing to do with anyone else! Just you guys! Good luck and health honey, and please let me know how you make out next month and GOOD LUCK!!!
