No. You don't need to do anything about it.
Most, if not all, males and many females masturbate. It can be a pleasurable experience. Even babies can masturbate. As you get older though, you'll experience an orgasm and ejaculation.
There are lots of ways to masturbate. In the male it typically involves stroking your penis up and down.
You could also just ask your friend to show you how they do it? Not all 12 or 13 year olds can ejaculate so they may be just "bragging."
One caution, masturbation can be addictive.
