I am experiencing large itchy swelling between anus and testicles.
Swelling goes in a line from anus to testicles
It is like I have some kind of tract infected.
I occaisionally apply pressure to it and a clearish mucus is discharged from a possible hair folicle.
Does anyone have any experience of this?

You better see a doc to determine what the swelling is all about. Does it look like a cyst, a small bump, a blister, or something else?
It could be a type of perianal cyst that needs draing or something. It would be best if you had it checked by a doc. I understand that the area is embarrasing but you better got rid of it then let in inflame if it hasn't already. if it gets inflamed, it will hurt like crazy and you won't even be able to sit normally.

Hi, I cant believe i have found this post. Im so pleased.Ive been having problems for a few months now with the same swelling around the front of my anus to around 1 inch towards my scrotum. Sometimes it really hurts like hell and i ve actually had so many problems im searching now for an answer instead of going to the docs like you advise on here. if i apply pressure to the swelling i feel like a bubble roll around the swelling then mucus comes from my anu which has a fishy kind of smell and snotty texture. If i continue to grit my teethand press the swelling i can see traces of blood. Some days the swelling is so bad i find it hard to sit properly and just the other day i sat on the edge of a desk and slid off and felt this feeling like a watery pump. When i went to the loo the back of my shorts were covered in fresh blood. this really worried me and i thought the worst and today ive syffered so bad i had to come on and search. im on antibiotics for a chest infection and hope if its a tract infection then this will be cleared up. If not, im gonna have to go to the docs. Im scared it cancer and TBH i dont wanna know if it is. Im sure my missus and my 3 yrs old little girl doesn't either.
I feel its also effected by things i eat, hot spicy foods and also if im caught short and need the loo when im driving and have to hold it in. This causses it to become irritated later the same day.

Feeling better that someone else experiences this - I am still suffering, but only once a week at most. After squeezing to relieve pressure - seems to quieten down for days / week.
I am being nagged to attend doctors but avoid due to possible results.

This sounds like a case of a hemorrhoid that is inflamed. Go to doc and get an answer. If it is something serious like cancer, the sooner it is treated, the better the results. Get a life and grow up and take responsibilities and go to a doc!

saw doc - examined and advised it was just an infection. took special wall breaking (prevents bacteria from forming a wall of defense) antibiotics - no problem now.

it looks urgg. But it bothers me alot. Today i don;t know how it got scratch or something. I a little spot have bleeded.
I need help right away.
Does this also infect it.
I love spicy food. Do lot of sport.
Someday i use the whole day on the pc.
And do i need a diet??

I also have this swollen, itchy line. It feels really good to itch until it starts to hurt and the I notice blood on my fingers.
Also, I have a few spots on my scrotum that itch. They are small bumps about 3mm diameter and are very low to the skin. They itch and it feels so good to itch my eyes roll back into my head sometimes, but then they easily burst and a clear liquid comes out. After a day or so, the bump is gone but there is still an open wound where the skin was itched off. If I squeeze the skin around it, a small amount of blood and other clear liquid will come out.
The final spot where I itch is in the crease between my leg and my scrotum. It doesn't itch as bad or feel as good when it's being itched, but the skin is red where it itches. The skin around it and the itched bumps is even a little bit flaky at some times.
Please if anyone knows any more about this, please post. I was told it was a yeast infection by my local "infection specialist" however at the same time I had a strep infection on my leg that he said was unrelated to the scrotum itching.

I think the reason it feels good to scratch is because it is an erogenous zone. The more it itches, the more you scratch it, making you feel good while making it worse at the same time. I think the key is to try not go near that area.

I have these problems also. It started several years ago. I have the smell from the anus , the itchiness between the anus and scrotum and a little on the underside of scrotum ,and in crease by legs , bumps that appear and stay for extended periods of time , lines that seem to turn into cuts , sometimes small bumps , sometimes big hard deep bumps . I went to a doctor several years ago at the local clinic , a mean b***h accused me of being gay and just said she had no idea what was causing the itchyness , another doctor at Trillium charged me 175 dollars to sense that I was healthy and had a fungal infection , but his medicine helped nothing , said my thymus was low and to come back for another appointment because he had another thing he wanted to try to sense that he just happened to have run out of right before I got there, but I could not afford to go back. I have never done anything gay. I also seem to almost always have irregular bowel movement now that aren't firm and come on quick. I was screened for hiv and other std'd , but not syphalis. can't trust or afford a doctor. My moods seem to be bad and angry way to often. scared to get a girlfriend even. parasite? viral infection in intestine? just don't know where to turn.

I've had this problem a couple of times before and it went away in less than a week. Now, I'm experiencing it again and I want to find out what is causing it. It seems to be happening 2-3 thimes a year. While I am gay trust me this has nothing to do with being gay. I'm rarely penetrated and when this happens it has never coincided with times when I was. As a matter of fact penetration and finger massaging actually seems to ease the pain and itchiness. Can't explain why.
Anyway, in addition to having the swelling close to the anus (not in the anus), my anus also seems very sensitive and from doing a selff exam to check for hemmoroids, I notice that there seems to be some oily substance within the opening of the rectum and it has an interesting odor... wouldn't call it fishy like someone else did but it doesn't smell like fecus either. I also noticed that the anus membrane seems very sensitive and stings when touched. I've not noticed any blood discharges or bleeding. The line that runs from the anus to the scrotum is inflammed and feels rigid. I haven't been straining with bowel movements. I'm pretty regular. But today I felt constipated so I use a liquid suppository to relieve myself. I don't have any issues sitting. I even go to the gym and play tennis without any problems. But, obviously something is right.
I'm thinking of going to a doctor this time to get it examined. I try to return and post what he says.

hi guys i am a 12 year old boy um about my testicles like
the skin of the testicle it is so itchy well not really it is near my testicles but and it is kinda itchy but some times 2 of my testicles are swelling but some times not. some times when it dosent swell it sometimes itches so i was thinking it was weird so guys please give me a reply as soon as possible please! :-(

The inflammed line from the bum to the balls is what i have too. I think my jeans rode up and chaffed the line, this got an infection. Its possibly not helped by having the old farmer giles too.
Ive had it once before and hot baths and antiseptic cream sorted it out. This though has gone inflammed and burns like ive had a chicken phal and washed it down with chillie juice.
its the track from the bum to the balls that is inflammed but its also not helped with bowel movements as its all inflammed down there.
glad others have had the same its itchy and burny and puffy around the tract. and its sometimes uncomfortable to walk or sit down.
keep it clean guys and hope it goes in a day or two.

I've had an itchy area between my scrotum and anus for 3 continuous months now. I went to a dermatologist who said that it wasn't fungal, but didn't want to give me anything for it because it should resolve on its own. I was told to put talcum powder in the area and generally keep it dry.
I've been doing this but it doesn't seem to be working. Sometimes the itchiness is almost unbearable. When I look at the area, if I haven't scratched it for a while then there's nothing to see. If I have scratched it, it looks red. I don't have any discharges, or funny smells, or blood. Just very itchy!
No idea what to do now since it doesn't seem to be getting better, will have to try a new doctor I suppose.
