I have been taking 10 mg of Lisinopril for one month and I’m experiencing severe muscle cramping. I notice it is worse on days when I've eaten bananas or if I drink orange juice. I realized there was a caution on the label regarding non use of salt substitutes. That would be potassium chloride. Will I have to restrict my diet to no potassium to keep from having back cramps? Has anyone experienced this? I am keeping BP under control, but the doctor said it was causing a calcium buildup according to my last blood test

I have been trying to adjust to Lisinopril for about two months and I am having a tough time. I was prescribed a 10mg, but I was advised to start with a half-tab for week then go to the full tab. That made me very dizzy and the whole tab incapacitated me completely. Only tried that for a few days, and then went back to the half. I decided to quit Lisinopril for a week, so I could remember what feeling normal was like. BP averaged 120-130/70-80 without a drug. Went back for a follow up visit with my complaints and doc says to keep trying the 2.5mg tab. I don’t know anything aboput diets. I am sorry. It seems to me that people react differently on Lisinopril.
