Hi. I'm 17 years of age. I am currently experiencing lower abdominal pain for 14 consecutive days now. The pain is sometimes in the center, sometimes in the left side or in the right side. I am not having my menstrual period for almost a year. It began being abnormal since I was 13 years old. My first menstruation was when I was 11 years old. Last year we went to the doctor and had an endoscopy and the doctor found out that i'm having small crystals in my ovary. That was a year ago. Due to financial difficulties, i wasn't able to go back to for another medical consultation with my gynecologist. I feel dizzy most of the time. I have a difficulty in breathing. I've got lots of acne on my face. I haven't met or known anyone having the same situation as mine. I am worried about my situation.  Can someone help explain what is this happening to my body? Does this condition of mine has a great possibility for me to become infertile?

Hi Agot,

It's hard to say what this pain might be without an exam.  Can you describe it? Is it a sharp or dull pain?  Does anything make it better, or worse?  Are you having any bowel or bladder problems.  Do you notice any blood in your stools?  Are you urinating normally?

How long have you been dizzy?  Has it been since the pain started?

Describe the shortness of breath?  Again, what makes it better or worse?  Is there any pain?

It's impossible to speculate on your fertility.

If there is any way for you to see a doctor I would advise it.  Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to diagnose this without an exam.

Good luck, keep us posted.

Hello medic dan! The pain is sharp. I'm still experiencing it today. Actually, it's the 16th day. It's alarming but I can't afford to see a doctor for now. I don't have any bowel problems. I am urinating normally. Actually, I go to the comfort room to urinate 4 times a day. I feel shortness of breath whenever I talk fast, whenever i'm eating my meal, i feel it too. I am very worried :(
