Hi, I am a 19 year old man and have discovered a lump on top of my right testicle, about the size of a pea. When I squeeze this lump I get a sharp pain in the right side of my chest around the nipple area. I am quite worried but embarrased to go to the doctors so thought I would try and get a heads up first!

Hi th05,

Some things can't really be diagnosed over the internet. I'm only thinking worst case here. You need to go see your doctor and get the lump checked. I'd recommend a urologist as this is their area of specialty. It could be several things.

It does not have to be testicular cancer. Still, play it safe and get it checked.

While the pain in the chest may not be related, it can occur with testicular cancer. Usually lower back pain is more common.

Please let us know what they find. Post back if you have any more questions/concerns.

Good luck.
