I am A- and I have Lupus & Sjogrens. My father is A- and he has Sarcodosis so we both have an RH Negative blood type AND auto immune diseases. My Mother is O+. This should be researched immediately since auto immune diseases attack what is thought to be foreign tissue which is the same as an RH Negative blood type attacking an RH Positive embryo. Also, I miscarried three times before having a successful pregnancy and my husband is O+. I wasn' t tested for the anticardiolipen antibody that is usually known to fight off pregnancies in Lupus patients until my 2nd miscarriage but the tests were negative even though I miscarried a 3rd time. My maternal-fetal specialist worked closely with my rheumatologist but all they could prescribe was prednisone which I took during all three pregnancies. I continued on prednisone during my 4th pregnancy and I now have a 17 year old son that is (understandably) the most wonderful gift in the world! I didn't do or take anything different during all four pregnancies.
I have always been sensitive to the sun and would (oddly enough) break out in hives (painful, itchy rash) on my upper body from sun exposure - no sun burn or anything and I never knew when or why it occurred but I ended up in the ER a few times because of the reaction. I was pretty healthy otherwise. I was diagnosed with Lupus in 1996 at the age of 28 after the usual Lupus symptoms - constant low grade fever, aches, fatigue - showed up and lab tests showed that I have a high Anti Nuclear Antibody Titer. Also, my blood test results have come back with additional notes about "strange clumping" and something about an anticoagulant.
I am about to be 50 and I can' t tolerate the usual Lupus meds but I am still on prednisone as well medications to treat Small Fiber Neuropathy, Restless Leg and Fibromyalgia which my RH Neg father has as well.
It seems logical that my RH Neg blood inherited from Dad would see my RH Pos DNA from Mom as foreign tissue and attack it like our immune system attacks a virus which is what Lupus does ESPECIALLY considering an RH Neg mother MUST have the Rhogam injection in order to prevent an RH Pos fetus from being rejected by the mother's body.
If anyone knows who we can contact to get the research started please let me know.

Doctors know about the correlations, but they aren't telling us or they aren't allowed to. Only about 5% of Americans even know their blood type. 97% of the Japanese do. They will ask your blood type before they ask your zodiac sign. That should tell you they are not telling us for a reason. The reason isn't good either. You may be a targeted individual without even knowing it. I was, until I discovered the CDC was tracking me. I'm O- delta 32 immunity to most disease. My whole family are RH negs. Uncle was O- died of MS in 2012. Grandma RH negative had dementia died 2015, Grandpa rh negative had parkinson's died 2015 (they died within 60 days of eachother) So yes autoimmune diseases are very common with RH neg blood types. Scientists are even saying RH neg blood has something in it "NOT OF HUMAN ORIGIN." Creepy factor is that the Red Cross has a database of all Americans and their blood type. Owned by the Rockefellers (evil evil people). I also got a letter from them 10 years ago banning me from donating blood until further notice. Excuse was BS. They don't wanto me donating because my blood could actually save someone else's life, not just by transfusion but once my blood was transfused it could possibly cure what the person has. We all know the healthcare system is not in business to cure anything. They are doing the exact opposite trying to kill us off with GMO's and vaccines. look up child disease statics prior to 1986 until now. That's the year congress passed a law eliminating vaccines from medical malpractice and product liability suits. They got free reign to do whatever they wanted with no accountability. I have 10 years experience as a paralegal in medical malpractice, insurance defense, and healthcare administration. When I first started working for a med mal firm and found out about the 1986 vaccine exemption it definitely made me lift an eyebrow. I was 22 at the time and since forgot about that until I had a child 2 years ago. Now i'm like OMG that was a HUGE red flag. Exempting something from liability suits and at the same time trying to pass laws to make vaccines mandatory is EUGENICS 101 DEPOPULATION. They are trying to wipe out RH neg blood lines.

I am so frustrated. I have been to two doctors, one hospital and an eye doctor; they all say: conjuntivitus. I know this is not the answer... I wondered if there was a connection with the Rh factor. A friend of mine who has an autoimmune illness; she too is Rh negative. From reading I think there may be a connection. I am not sure if this will help anyone but a different friend who has lupus mentioned her doctor said you can also find ridges in the fingernails as another sign of lupus. I do not know how truthful that is, but I have them. I feel I'm in a no win situation, sypmptoms continue with continued mis diagnoses. I was told w/ the conjunctivitis that it was due to seasonal allergies. We don"t have pollen issues for 1.5 years!

If we do this we may end up getting a clinical trial for this. I don't know any other way to get the ball rolling. Unfortunately, I live in a small town in the South that doesn't have clinical trials near me. I have bugged the c**p out of the Lupus Foundation of America about this specific issue but so far nobody has been able to tell me anything. Also, we need to talk to our Rheumatologist about this as well.
