Hi everybody! Me and my husband have been trying to concieve for 5 yrs now. I have been pregnant twice but lost both pregnanicies very early on and it has taken several years between to get pregnant. I had a gyno that I liked but when it came to fertility he acted as though he didnt care. He ran one progesterone level test and said it was fine. Well today I found out from my new doctor that the test he did was not fine. I have what is called a luteal phase deficiency. Which means that when fertilization takes place the uterine lining is not at the right phase at the right time because im not producing enough progesterone. That is why I keep losing them and having a hard time becoming pregnant. I ovulate just fine but its still an abnormal ovulation. He gave me a prescription of 50mg of clomid today and I cant wait to begin taking them. He is hoping this will help me produce a enough progesterone to support pregnancy. I wish all of you the best of luck!!! :-D
