I am 43 year old male and 12 weeks ago I noticed that my belly was bloated. The other symptoms are: distend abdominal, extreme pain if I go to long between meals, diarrhea or constipation, and nausea sometime.  Belly gets larger as day goes on. They have checked gallbladder and it's fine.  I'm going Monday for ct scan. Belly doesn't change with switching food diet.  Any thoughts, tired of looking 5 months pregnant.

Since you are not very young anymore and the problem is fairly new, I would assume your bloated belly isn't caused by celiac disease or anything like that. And because you say switching your diet doesn't help, it's not gassy foods either. A bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine sounds much more likely, or it could even be something like ascites or a tumor.

It is good that you are going for a CT scan. Hopefully that will give you the answers you are looking for, and get it treated as well. Keep us updated on what's going on, would you?
