Hi, two weeks ago I noticed metalic taste in mouth. I am 40 years old male. Is it maybe poisoning with polluted water or increased intake of any kind?

Bleeding is situated in the gums, sinuses or nose. The taste can get bad and it happens when a person has post nasal drip and the dried blood sticks to the back of the throat. Bad breathe and bad taste are mostly connected to bleeding gums. Some people which have dental silver/mercury fillings, may feel metallic taste due to releasing of mercury. Many oral medications such as thyroid medicine, penicillin, and lithium can provoke a metallic taste in mouth. There are many reasons which could have as result a metallic taste. and it could be only your sensation without any reasonable explanation.
