Has anyone experienced multiple bruises on the legs or night sweating from IUD? My daughter has an IUD and we just returned from the hospital ER, with symptoms that mimicked some of the symptoms associated with leukemia (leg bruising, night sweats, terrible intermittent abdominal pain and sometimes bloating). Multiple bruises appeared on her legs within 48 hours, starting with one large one. She has been on the IUD for a year and a half with extreme fatigue and tiredness within same time frame and abdominal pain, but the bruising on legs and night sweats seem to be new. There is not much on the internet regarding these exact side effects, and docs seem to not take a stance on this and deny it, citing, "there are no clinical studies that would support this." Of course not. ;-/ Any feedback would be appreciated. -PP
