I have PCOS but have had a regular period since I was 10, I am now 25. I was suppose to have a period at the end of Nov '09 but I didn't. I took a pregnancy test, blood test, and ultrasound and everything came back negative for pregnancy/anything wrong. A week after the doctor visit I started spotting and have been for going on 4 weeks now.

I had a miscarriage in March, waited 3 months before I started trying again and have been trying all this time. Yesturday I took another pregnancy test just to check and another negative. I haven't really been in the mood for sex, which is very unusual for me, but my husband and I did have intercourse twice these 4 weeks, again not usual. The first time I bled like I was have a moderate period but it was gone within 15-20 min. The second time no blood just the normal spotting from the weeks before.

I'm starting to get really concerned that if I am pregnant I'll do something stupid and loose it again.

Please help me understand in any way. I've got another doctors appointment on the 29th of Dec with an OBGYN.

Hi Bekka! First of all honey you didn't do anything stupid when you had your miscarriage, I HATE saying this - because it sounds so contrite - but Miscarriages just happen sometimes, no reason why!

When you have PCOS it can TOTALLY and utterly mimic pregnancy! And also this will be causing your bleeding after sex! Has your doctor talked to you about putting you on Metphormin and Clomid? Both of these have EXCELLENT outcomes for womens suffering form PCOS And can help shrink the cyst! And dramatically increase your chances of conceiving! IF they haven't mentioned this, when you go to the doctors on the 29th ask about it! You shouldn't be bleeding this long, you might need to go on a BCP for a short time - just to see if it fixes your bleeding! The good thing is, when you are going to the OB he/she will ahve seen this before and be able to help you further! The thing is, if you go with some information in your back pocket you will be more informed! Also take a pad and pen, write down the questions you need to ask, and write down the answers. There's nothing more aggravating than getting to the doctors - ESPECIALLY a specialist, not asking questions and leaving without getting the answers!

Also do you have any itchiness in your vagina and the outside?
