People please, help me. I don't know what to do with myself anymore. I can't stand myself sometimes and I just can believe how others around me feel about my current situation. Here is what is my problem. I am dealing with anxiety for a long time. But I haven't done anything about it. Now, I think that I really need to talk to someone about it. Why? Because my anxiety sometimes makes me feel like crazy and I am doing some things that I would never do. Do you have any advice for me? What can help me?

It would really be of use if you could tell us what exactly do you mean by going crazy and what exactly are the things that you are doing and would never do if you weren't suffering from anxiety. This can help us give a better advice regarding your question.

Well, anxiety is rarely treated on your own, you basically want to have someone you can talk to, a family member, boyfriend, a very good friend or a psychologist. Some special diet programs and a lot of exercising can also help in the treatment of anxiety. Hope this helps.

No one with anxiety or panic attacks has ever gone "crazy". In fact, because you realize that you have anxiety, this is just another indication that you are not going crazy. People that "go crazy" lose contact with reality.  Anxiety people are too much in contact with reality. Thus, people with panic and anxiety problems never "go crazy". It simply cannot happen.

The first step that you can take towards overcoming anxiety is that you understand that you are going to be just fine. You are going to be okay, nothing bad is going to happen to you so there isn't anything to be worried about.

EatingBoss is right, I wouldn't know either what do you mean when you are saying that you are going crazy, it would help if you would explain that.

If you are thinking about crazy crazy, there's no need for you to worry about it because nobody who suffered from anxiety went crazy, that just doesn't happen. However, anxiety can really mess up your thoughts and make you feel in a way you've never felt before. But again, no worries, you are not going to lose your mind and you are eventually going to be just fine, just stay strong, you can fight this.

You are making a big deal out of this, Guest. I think that you are just trying to get some attention. Nobody has ever gone crazy because of anxiety, at least not that I know of. It would be wiser for you to try and fight this, talk to a psychologist or something, take some medications, do what you need to do in order to fight your anxiety. You are just like everyone else, complaining about the symptoms of anxiety which everyone are aware of. Come on, you can do better than this. Fight this thing and come out as a winner.

Well, maybe you think that I am making a big deal out of this, but I don't think so. I literally have some problems and sometimes I feel that I have some voices in my head because of this anxiety. I have tried to fight this, of course, truth is that I was trying to fight this alone, (I am scared to visit my doctor because sometimes I think that he will tell me that I am out of my mind and that I really need to be healed). That is why I came here because I think that people in here can help me in dealing with this problem.

Hey dear Guest. You really should calm down because you are not making this easy for you at all. Like other members in here told you, no one was crazy because of the anxiety attacks. Now, when you are mention those voices in your head, I don't know what to tell you about this, but I am sure that they are not caused by those panic or anxiety attacks that you are going through. Anyway, you need to seek for immediate help of your doctor or physician. Trust me, those people can help you a lot and you can feel good after just one conversation with them.

Hey Guest, you haven't answered on one really important question - what do you mean when you are saying that you are going crazy? Because, going crazy can have so many different options and meanings. I agree with those people who told you that you should see your doctor because no one was worse after seeing or talking to their doctor. Trust me, anxiety can make you feel like you don't know what to do or how to behave in certain conditions, but I am sure that it won't make you go like you are crazy. Talk to an expert, that is the best option.
