Hi Jaz. If you have had a normal period, then the likelihood of you being pregnant is very low. However, if you never use protection there is always the chance of getting pregnant. So are you trying to get pregnant?

Hi Anne
- It would seem that you have a 32-day cycle (24 Apr to 26 May). Is that your usual cycle length?
- It would seem from the dates you have given that 5 May was not a fertile day, so it would be unlikely you would get pregnant anyway.
- Periods can be delayed for all sorts of reasons, but a test would be considered reliable by now.
- Which country are you in now?
I hope this helps as a start

Hi Anne
Sorry for not replying to your previous post, but I was not notified of it.
I understand your nervousness, but try to relax (easier said than done). Stress doesn't help!
You say, "I am sure my boyfriend used condom", but you don't say you know. Why do you not know? If he didn't use one, then there is a good chance sperm might have entered your vagina. You say he "pulled off right before ejaculation". I assume you meant the pulled his penis out of your vagina. Did you not see the ejaculate in the condom?
Can you give me the start dates of your periods this year?
- You could try vitamin C as it helps you produce oestrogen which can build the lining of your uterus and so make it contract and cause menstrual bleeding. High doses of vitamin C are available in supplements (3000mg of vitamin for 3 days) or in natural sources (e.g. orange, lemon, green tea. You could also try drinking cranberry juice.
- Do you eat red meat? You could try including more red meat in your diet. It has heating properties, and so might speed up your period.
- The hot compress on your lower abdomen was a good idea as it heats up your body and makes your menstruation start earlier. I know it is very hot where you are, but you could try sitting or lying in a hot bath for around 30 minutes daily for few days. Drinking lukewarm water during those days could also help.
- Spending time with women who are menstruating (or just about to) might help. I don't understand the science behind it (menstrual synchrony), but many women say it works.
Of course, any time you have sexual intercourse could result in pregnancy - cycles are not always predictable, and birth control is not 100% reliable.
The best way is to avoid sex until you are married. It tends to make for a better sex in marriage.
I understand you are afraid to buy a test, but can't your boyfriend get one? If you are pregnant, the sooner you know, the better. By now, a test should be accurate.
I hope this helps

Hi Andrea
If your last 2 periods started 24th April & 28th May, then you had a 34 day cycle. That would indicate your next period would be due 1st July (28th May + 34days). However that still means you are 10 days over. It may be that you are irregular (what is your usual cycle length?).
Having sex on the first day of your period (28th May) would not usually lead to pregnancy, as it is generally considered an infertile time. However, it is not unknown for a wonam to ovulate twice in a month.
Also you don't say what other sexual activity (including 'protected' sexual intercourse and fingering) you have had since your last period.
The likelihood of you being pregnant is very low, but whenever you have sex there is a risk. I would suggest you take a test if it is now 21 days since your last sex.
I hope this helps

You probably wouldn't know if you ovulated twice a month, and is is not a common occurrence.
