May 12 was not likely to have been a fertile day, and may well have been at the end of your period flow. The indications are that you are not pregnant. A blood test would be conclusive.
Where are you from?

I'm one week delay on my periods. My last periods was 15 May. I had sex with my hubby only once during the last month on May 25. I'm not having any pregnancy symptoms. I did Home Pregnancy tests twice but its negative. Is it the right time to test? Is there any chance for my pregnancy?

You did not say what date your period was due to start, or the usual length of your cycle (often 28 days). Such information would help indicate likely fertile days.
The 14th day before a period starts and the previous 5 days are considered to be the fertile days.

Hi Stephanie, You don't give much information about yourself, or exactly what you mean by your question, or what your real worries might be.
- The simple answer is that it is usually because of changing hormone levels. Levels of hormones rise and fall during a normal menstrual cycle, but the exact timing of those changes varies from woman to woman.
- The breast ducts enlarge because of Oestrogen.
- The milk glands to swell because of Progesterone.
- Either or both can cause breast tenderness and soreness.
- However, sometimes premenstrual breast swelling and tenderness could be a sign of fibrocystic breast disease (pre-menstrual painful, lumpy breasts).
I hope this helps, at least as a start.

Hello Justine
A 1 week delay could mean nothing more than just that. It was delayed. If it turns out to be a normal period, then it probably means that you ovulated 1 week later than expected. So whereas you might have expected to have ovulated on 12th June (with a fertile period 7th-12th June), you probably ovulated 19th June (with a fertile period 14th-19th June). Are you normally regular? What is your normal cycle length?
I hope this helps as a start.

Hi Ann.
It seems unlikely, but you didn't say exactly when you had sex.
The projected date for your period start of July 3 would indicate a cycle of 35 days.
- It that usually the case?
- How did you calculate that date?
If you do have a regular cycle of 35 days and you had sex on June 3rd, then it is unlikely. However cycles can change. Anytime you have sex there is the possibility of pregnancy following, especially unprotected.
Stress can cause delays, but if June 3 was the only day you had sex, then a test taken now should be accurate.

What were the start dates of your last 3 periods?

It could be stress delaying. Are you sure it was 3rd June? Was it your first and only time? And were there any stresses associated with it?
