Yes!!!!
I have been checked and checked and been treated as its all in my head. I too snap back like springs when forcing bends in my tendons and muscles, have the flu feeling 24- . Feel like im made of wood and covered with lead. Always tired and fatigued, my muscles ache and burn. I am a 43 year old male so they wont even consider fybromyalgia. Not rheumatoid, not chronic tendonitis, not chronic gout, not psoriatic arthritis even though i do have moderate psoriasis, not lymes, not lupus--I have to thank Hod I have back disc problems and that dr precrribes oxycodone which helps wiith my body pain, or I wouldnt get outta the bed with out crying.

Wish I knew what was wrong so it could be treated, no one should be treated like its in thier head when it feels bad enough to end it myself.
Just because the tests dont reveal anything, how much room is allowed for new things like men having fybro.?? Or a new illness, I know ppl take advantage of the system, but this puts the sick in the position of Helen Keller??
Wits end

I have suffered with pain for years, and only tonight, I was talking to my partner on how I have chosen to become a stronger person for it and years down the track less selfish, more determined, even though everything takes x amount of time longer, but the satisfaction of 'getting there' is incredible, it gets me out of bed in the morning. Teachers those around you makes life easier and more understandable for everyone involved. Peace.

Hi. It seems everyone is giving diagnosis if fibromyalgia when even those symptoms and the disease is now being closely linked with the thyroid. You should consider hypothyroidism too. They symptoms are exactly the same. If you are very young dies not matter. Mine was caused by a adenonoma on my parathyroid which resulted in removal of half my thyroid. I'm on Armour now but the muscle pain came back recently because my meds needed adjusting (more). I'm all for going to functional medicine doctors rather than 'band-aid' doctors. TSH results are relatively no good without testing PTH and all other hormones which are controlled by the thyroid. Pain is our bodies signal something is wrong wrong. So find the source rather than treating a symptom. Thanx for listening!
