Hello,
Since August 2021 (14 months ago) I have been getting sick with GI issues every month, almost exactly 30 days apart. It starts with very intense pain which does not go away no matter what position I try, and sleep is not possible. Lots of diarrhea, and usually (not every time) vomiting. Often the pain shifts to my liver/gallbladder area the next day and will stay in my right upper quadrant for 2-4 more days, and then I'm usually fine. One time it lead to ulcers, and vomiting both red and coffee ground blood. That took about 2 weeks to recover from.
I am a very athletic 35 y/o male with no allergies, I eat very healthy, exercise daily, don't drink, smoke, nor drink coffee. The crazy thing is all the tests I've done (stool culture, endoscopy, colonoscopy, CT scan,) came back normal. Blood tests when I'm sick show elevated WBCs, neurophils, monocytes, lipase, blood glucose, CO2, and low lymphocytes.
This past week the episode came on even stronger. An ultrasound showed gallbladder sludge, but no stones were seen. I am pooping pure bile. Its now day 6, and I still cannot eat, though I can keep down liquids.
I'm happy to share more information if there are questions, but don't want to overload. Any new thoughts or ideas are very welcome. I'm out of those now, but still suffering monthly. Thank you.

Hello, andrewc.
Sorry, but I must ask if you have been referred to a mental health professional to evaluate and treat any underlying psychological issues that could be contributing to the symptoms.
It is possible that the symptoms could be caused by psychological issues such as anxiety or depression. It is also possible that the symptoms could be caused by a physical issue such as an undiagnosed medical condition or a nutritional deficiency.
Have you seen any improvement in the meantime?
