My boyfriend and I have been trying to conceive now since November (so 4 months). I went to the doctor's last month since I am approaching my 35th birthday and started getting concerned that I may have issues conceiving. The Dr's have told me I should have no problems as medically (normal paps, no STDs, normal pelvic exam) they have not found any gyn issues to date. The past 2 months I have been having severe bloating and upper abdominal "waves", some generailized cramping in my lower abdomen, nausea, fatigue, tender breasts and some dizziness before and during my menstrual cycle and all pregnancy test have been negative. I am ovulating normally and my periods occur regularly but lately they are heavy on the first day but are done within a day or two after that. And the bloating does not seem to dissapate after my period ends like it used to. I have had ovarian cysts about 7-8 years ago and now I am really worrying. My Dr doesn't seem concerned but my boyfriend is starting to have doubts that we will be able to conceive and with my age I am worried that he may be right (he has a child already). I am really starting to lose hope fast. My Dr doesn't want to see me until October but I worry that something else may be wrong.. help

I have the same problems as you also. Have been released from hospital yesterday after going in with severe abdominal pain (that comes in waves and makes me want tobe sick and pass out) and pain in the kidney area, I also have pain down my legs. The bloating is so severe I have gone up 2 dress sizes!! Unfortunately the doctors dont seem too concerned and have sent me home with some pain killers and antibiotics to clear the infection, with istructions to consult my GP in 1 wks time for an abdominal scan. Whilst this is fine I feel i will be fobbed off with excuses because noone seems to know what is wrong with me or understand the severity of how i am feeling and help me find a diagnosis (it took almost a year for me to discover i had pco and eventhen I found out myself on the net from describing symptoms and just had the doctors confirm it). All I can say is listen to your own body and push your dr's for more tests and a diagnosis, I have been going through this for 18 months and still have no answers, try and push them to bring your dr's app forward, it can be very depressing and soul destroying to have to sit and wait for an apptoo long when you feel this way.
Sorry not much of this is useful but rest assured you are no alone in how you feel. If I find some answers i'll be sure to share them.
Take care
