Amenorrhea is only diagnosed after missing a period for three months, I think, so she would not qualify for that diagnosis yet.
It is quite common for women to be late on their periods for all sorts of reasons, ranging from stress (including about the possibility of being pregnant) to illness and reproductive diseases or exercising too much. Most of the time, a period will show up anyway just a while later. Late period, negative pregnancy test quite reliably means the woman is not pregnant. Pregnancy tests react to a certain hormone that just isn't present normally.
Go to a doctor if she misses her period again next month.
