Okay, So... I haven't had my period since the end of July sometime. I've never been one who knows the exact date I'll be getting my period.. but have always gotten it every month. I guess I should give a background of what's been going on with me in the last year to get a better understanding of whats going on with me:

I started going to the gym and went on the south beach diet... I started out in late March and weighed around 180 lbs. It worked really well and by July I weighed around 145lbs. I was feeling really good and kept working out and dieting (In what I feel was the right way.. following the rules of the book and all) and by the end of August I weighed somewhere around 130. That's when I noticed that I hadn't gotten my period that month. I didn't think too much... maybe I had gotten it late in July (me, not being one that tracks her period faithfully) and I would get it soon. well August went by.... and so did September... no period. I was still going to the gym.. and although I had pretty much veered from the diet.. I watch what I eat and try to eat healthy. I weigh now somewhere around 125... It's mid november now, and since March... in nine months I've lost about 55lbs. A success story, right? sooo where is my period? I'm getting nervous, but absolutely HATE going to the gynocologist.... oh and three pregnancy tests have confirmed that I am NOT pregnaunt.

To guest who posted 11/04/10- Painful periods and cramping could be symptoms of endometriosis. I have had it the last 7 years and it is horrible! Do some research on it and make an appointment with a ob! Hopefully that is not what it is ! I know it has been almost a year since you have posted so hopefully you have more answers now!
