I am pregnant through donor egg IVF and today had my first ultrasound. I'm at gestation day 32 exactly, which I know because that was the day the eggs were retrieved and fertilized.

In our ultrasound today, the Doctor saw the black peanut-shaped image, proving I am pregnant, but could find nothing within the black area. The measurements also say I'm at 5 weeks 4 days, when I'm at 6 weeks, 4 days based on the LMP calendar everyone uses.

We don't have the HcG readings back yet, but I'm wondering if this can be interpreted as normal, are the dates somehow wrong, or are we probably looking at a miscarriage?
