Dear Fluffycat,

I know its been a year ago since you posted. However, I am suffering from the same symptoms. My body is automatically seizing up like I am doing Isometrics. I am freezing to death but I do not have a fever. My head feels like its busting and I had really bad diaherrea the first day but I took and anti diaherrea Pill so that stopped it. I am exhausted.

I assume that it is a virus of some kind. No one in my home is sick.  I went to San Francisco looking for Durian fruit on Thursday and got really sick Saturday night. So I am pretty sure that where I picked it up at.

Anyway, I hope you recovered and are back at school.

You'd have the baby and enjoy life with your new blessing. Don't add to the abortion rate..... If you are/were pregnant, accept the blessing that many of us are asking God for. Yet He hasn't seen fit to bless us with.

eI agree with your post and these can be celiac, i think i have that been diagnosed IBS, learn hard way celiac symptoms.. you are not allergic they use allergic in the sense of having sneezing or like symptoms when you breathe in things like pollen, dust or mold. celiac disease means you cannot digest wheat, barley, rye, oat (although oat is less frequent, wheat is your real culprit) ..when you do eat food containing even small amounts of these they sit there in your stomach for days causing you symptoms like diarrhea, nausea, headache, extreme fatigue, body aches, chills, etc. There is no cure for celiac you can only manage symptoms by try gluten free foods. if you respond to food without wheat, barley, rye, oat (aka gluten) then you have celiac. some people have less severe form and takes on just sensitivity in which case symptoms will be less severe and clear up without the drastic diet change off gluten. what i describe happens whether you eat the food by accident or intended to. Beer contains gluten. @O

Try cutting back on your beer intake, cut it out all together if that doesn't work, or try switching to hard liquor instead. By not able to digest wheat, barley, rye, and oat above, I meant to also add you lack the protein responsible for allowing you to break it down when consumed. not something you can control, you are either born with it or don't have it. those with full blown celiac and celiac sensitivity don't have this protein. I used to be able in my teens to digest this food, now with adult transition hormones, I can't anymore. I have read up extensive on this though not a doctor. i went to a real MD/GP she said IBS but ibs is what they say when its really celiac. you can't have one without the other. I have myself also tried my advice i have given here, and gluten free works wonders for me, don't have the associated symptoms, energy is back.

When wheat, barley, rye, oat or like food even small amount is consumed, lacking this protein nescessary for break down of it means it remains in your stomach, where it literally eats away at the microvilli (lining of your stomach) which causes your symptoms nausea, diarhea, fatigue, headache, chills, body ache. it will pass eventually.. but a very excruiating painful 4 days to a week later from onset. can make you feel like you have real severe flu but isn't the flu and isn't a virus so antibiotics won't help (no need for dr except to colonoscopy or like test confirm you have it) .

one common strand I see is there are a lot of people under stress, lack of sleep, working hard, and freaking out over there head ache. Now I'm no doctor, but my suggestion Is to chillax :) (but you should probably check out a real doctor just in case)

I have the sane symptoms since I'm in my teens and til now I'm having episodes like that. Specially if you're a girl, monthly visits triggers it too. Was diagnosed with chronic migraine. Can't do anything about it but just to have pain meds before head really aches. You might experience blurry vision that's one sign, hallos they call it (cloudy vision), sensitivity to light. Avoid getting hungry, dehydrated it will trigger it. The one I hate most is the one that wakes you up at night with already intense pain. Try to see a neurologist since they're the expert on that field. I feel your pain, hope they find a cure soon.
