for around 5 months iv had a numb sensation in my left hand. it started off in my left foot then spread up the left side of my body but now it is just my hand that is numb. i find it difficult to use this hand and it gets uncomfortable and annoying at times and also feels tight and stiff. iv been to the doctors and had blood tests done, i found out that i have an iron deficency but it has nothing to do with my numbness. iv also noticed that when i drop my chin down on to my chest i get a tingling sensation coming from my neck and down my left hand. my doctor was supposed to be referring me to a neurologoist but iv not heard anything yet.

Hi there, if I were ou I would be pursuing that referral to a neurologist pretty strongly. Numbness in the hand is something you can safely live with but it is not a good thing usually. Can you tell me how you're feeling? How long has this been the case for you? Let me know how you're doing?
