numbness on the right side of your head, in the scalp area

I have had the same problem over a month now...went to dr.. Said it was neuralgia & it would go away...I'm not happy with that answer...it has subsided some but when I get mad or get stressed its back just as it was in the beginning...at least the headache I had at first for a week has stopped...& still sensitive to sunlight wear sunglasses all the time.

I am feeling the same thing. Have you figured it out?

I take seizure meds for this; building it up in blood stream over two weeks. First two weeks I was very sleepy especially once I double doses but after 2-3 weeks sleepiness still there but I manage. Even at double dose w/lowest size doctor still says I'm same dosage as someone who has epilepsy, nice huh. Did a MRI w/dye injection to understand why and showed blood vessel in brain touching 1st nerve something or another...yeah its inside skull somewhere not outside like I thought. You will live thru this it's the stupidest thing I suffer from chronically sort of like a my left second or third toe going numb. Try to manage the sleepy thing and prevail.
