OVARIAN CHOCLATE CYST COMPLICATIONS

If left untreated it can cause pain and eventually infertility. Usually BCP are used as a hormonal treatment and medications are given for the pain. There are very simple surgical procedures also out there to help this issue if the hormone therapy doesn't work. Sometimes if its left untreated for a long time and the pain is uncontrolled a woman might have to have a hysterectomy.
Other than pain and infertility there isn't much more...except maybe heavy periods.
