i am 20 years old and have been experiencing nausea, stomach pain, vomitting(everyother week), fatigue, migraines, body aches, numbness in my hands and feet, dizziness, etc.. for a lil over five years. i have seen just about every specialist out there, and had almost every type of test ran on me. and everything comes back fine. my normal physician always tells me to call my pyschatrist cus the doc says im stressed. when i call my phsychatrist he will tell me right off the bat that he doesnt know why they telling me to call him. it seems like every doctor i go to talks to me like im an id**t. asking me what i think my diagnoses is. im at a lost for what to do next. it seems like the cold months always make me feel worse. i jus want an answer to what is wrong with me.

Hello my name is Lauren and I am 20 years old. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and am constantly tired and in tremendous pain. I do not have IBS but my heart beats fast and my lymphnodes in my breast are always swollen. To be honest I had a drug problem and when I got sober the symptoms began but the fatigue started a year before I started taking drugs. The reason I began taking drugs was because I was always tired. Fibromyalgia is a syndrome and it usually stems from some type of infection or disease. Especially at 20 years old It is very unusual to have this syndrome. All my blood work also came out negative but that does not mean that something is not wrong. My friend has been sick for 8 years and she has got tons of blood tests and seen over 100 doctors. She was diagnosed with all kinds of diseases, syndromes, and infections that were not even correct especially fibromyalgia. She finally ordered a blood test from IGENIX in California to test for lymes disease even though the doctors at home tested her over 6 times and it came out negative. Her friend told her about this laboratory in California and how they do extensive test for lymes disease and its co-infections which can be worse than the actuall disease ,and her test came out positive and now she is on tons of different antibiotics and she feels much better. She would have died if she did not get treated. She will have to take the antibiotics for one year. The test is 700 dollars. I hope this information might help. I will not live like this and something tells me that I have a disease. I think every single one of us on this website has something else other than fibromyalgia it has to stem from something else. If you havent noticed everysingle one of us who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia we all have different symptoms except fatigue and pain, and if you go on other websites where people talk about it they all have different symptoms so isn't that strange?

I just recently was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.
Can I ask for some info from you?
Do you sometimes feel as if your body, especially your legs and arms, way a ton and fell you can't move them and it hurts to use a leg or arm rest?
Have you tried the new drug Lyrica? Has it helped? Side effects?
I was told I have a Vit D defficiency and to take Magnesium Glycine along with high doses of D. Have you tried this?
Just trying to figure out what is the right answer and what helps. I'm tired of being handed "drugs" and their side affects.
Celiac Disease also runs in my family. Any correlation?
I would really appreciatte any input ASAP before I start different meds.

:-) get back to the basics , what i mean is clean up your health, if you cleanse your body and rid it of the toxins like drinking water and eating fruits and veggies , get some excersize you will feel better plain and simple , most people who are feeling weak ,tired, fatigued are dehydrated , try drinking water with lemon in it. i went 9 months feeling like there was something seriously wrong ,was back and forth to drs. til i took care of me , now i am doing great , i change my eating, lost weight and definitely have more energy .TRY IT AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN!!!! good luck and GOD bless you all

I am 36 years old and for the past 4 or 5 years I have had all of the same problems, body aches, irregular cycles, lactating, my uterus fills like it contracts when I lactate, lower back pains going down my leg, long and heavy cycles, head aches, cyst that don’t that stay for months, and very frustrated. I was going to my Primary Doc and they could not figure it out so she told me it was all in my head and gave me a pill. I was angry and moved to another doctor. It was a coincidence I went to my eye doctor and my peripheral vision was going bad, sight changing etc. He told me get a cat scan and finally found that I had a lesion on my pituitary gland. This gland regulates hormones and could explain many of my symptoms. I have to go for more tests, blood work and see an endocrinologist. I have a long maternal history of ovarian cancer as well. I took the genetic test it came back negative. But as I was told this is the only gene that they look for and there are many they don’t know about yet that is connected to this type of cancer. Keep trying to find a doctor that listens. Please don’t give up your bodies are telling you there is something wrong. A lot of docs now a day are pill happy and their practice has become a numbers game. I have also used an acupuncturist to control pain it she works wonders.

Another possible explanation is Lyme Disease. Many Fibromyalgia patients actually have Lyme, which is a treatable illness, so this diagnosis actually comes as a relief to many who believe they have an illness that has no cure.
Of course, as others have said, seeing a doctor is the only way to be sure, but if your symptoms can't be explained, you may consider being tested for Lyme--make sure to have the "double" test done, the regular one won't work if you were infected more than a few months previous to testing.

hi, I have had constant fatigue for over 6 years, I was diagnosed with moderate to severe depression 4 years ago. I took the meds for a few months and felt no relief and in fact slept more. I don't seem to have the energy to do anything. I go to work and that's it. I also experience pain all over at various times along with mild diarrhea. I have migraines about once or twice a month. I only eat one meal a day and that's during my lunch break at work.

I too have these symptoms. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I have severe fatigue, especially when sitting but always have a tired feeling. I have muscular pain and fatigue when climbing stairs, although walking doesn't fatigue me as much. I have IBS which I haven't been diagnosed by my doctor, but know that is what it is. I suffer headaches and daily back pain. There are alot of other things it COULD be, but see your doctor and explain all of your symptoms. It you have a lot of different symptoms write them down and let your doctor look over them. Best of luck.

hi there i too have these symptoms but at the beginng i had visual disturbances like flashes of light and loss of vision in one eye then an onset of migraines, all the tests i have had have been fine. i am at my witts end as i am very exhausted just the normal day to day activities are a major. i have had to stop work due to the continuing cramps in my stomach and back and also the sever bloating in the stomach. it has now got to the stage that walking around the block setts the symptoms off. im up most nights with pain in my right side of my stomach and it goes through into my back and the continuing nusea. id love to hear from anyone else thats experiancing the same? im tired and frustrated as its very costly to keep going to the doc over the same thing time after time, im thinking if i should be tested for ms? :'(

Same here. I am seventeen. Doctors have diagnosed me with bipolar II, and anxiety. I'm on anti-anxiety medication but I still feel like this . Even when I'm in a good mood, I am very tired and have lower back pain. I will sleep for eight hours a night, come home from school and nap for three hours, even if I don't mean to. I missed 80% of the semester last year because of either extreme exhaustion or being nausea. I very rarely throw up, just dry heave A LOT. I've had numerous blood tests done, seen specialists and nobody can figure out why I feel sick and I'm tired all the time...I usually have to take a gravol or two just to get me through the day without dry heaving and gagging.
