Hi ladies, Hope your all well! Update for me, is that I read one women saying about THRUSH PESSERY and CREAM. Well no burning after the wee but sometimes it feels abit hot. :( I am drinking tea still which I need to limit to see if that helps me. Now just a tip for you girls,... You know when you get the soreness in the vagina well the ureatha hole. I get this after certain wee's. So I went to the doctors about this he told me to go back private as its another 3 month waiting for a check up if I went on the nhs. I asked him for more anti biotics, and I asked for thrush pesserie. Good and Bad news. The night I put it in, the next morning, my vagina felt ok. No pain! No severe discomfort. I still didnt risk having sexual intercourse tho. But after 2 days it came back. I then went to asda and bought another packet. That was Thursday evening, Its now Monday morning and No pain, No discomfort. So thats 4 days of being semi ok. Not fully back to normal but ok enough to not have the thobbing soreness. I am unsure what it does myself, but it helps. I am praying the soreness will not come back. But surly the longer periods of it being ok, must mean Im getting somewhere! So go out and try it. See if that helps.

The operation did help me, its better to wee now! The bad uti had caused scarring in my ureatha and now thats been widened. I think it has helped as I can wee without struggle.

Hi Ladies, totally unrelated but maybe not,I ended up getting heavy non stop periods for 4 weeks and got sent for an ultrasound where they found the uterus lining was way oversized,I had surgery last Friday and I am now wondering was all the oversized parts pressing on the bladder and causing me to have urinary symptoms? I was told it can cause lwer back pain discomfort in the urinary tract etc Anyway I have dreadful pain from the surgery to stop bleeding but so far no trouble with wee irritation or pain, might be worth while having an ultrasound on the uterus and bladder and kidneys to be sure its not coming from somewhere else

Also be careful with cranberry juice it can aggrivate the bladder, water, green tea or cammomile teas are all good for this

No Dona not removal, they did a hystoscopy to check everything, a D&C then did novasure ablation, its day5 today and I feel ok and the best bit was it stopped the horrendous bleeding I had for 4 weeks straight, what I was saying is, I wonder if my uterus bleeding issues and the oversize of it were causing me to have pressure on the bladder system? The one thing I took for the irritated urethra that worked was Hiprex, I got a bottle of 100 so they are always in the cupboard if/when I need and anytime I feel the twinge start I will simply go on them for 7 to 10days, I havent had the uti feeling back since months ago when I used the Hiprex I was advised back then to use it for 15 to 20 days even if it felt like it was gone. So I did and it worked for me.

I know exactly how you feel, it's impossible for me to wear jeans, leggings or tights without getting any pain in my urethra or when I pass water.
Since my cystoscopy my symptoms are slowly coming back so regardless of how sore I'll feel afterwards, I think i'm going to go ahead with a urethral dilation.
The pain I get is mostly after I've finished weeing

26 FEMALE. LIVING WITH THIS FOR THE LAST 5 MONTHS!

CONDITION; URETHRAE STRICTURE. 2 OPS LATER, AND 5 WEEKS LATER STILL SORE!

I have been posting on here for a couple of months, had the operations. But still not feeling right down below. It feels like my wee hole get irritated. To the point, wearing jeans and sitting down in them create discomfort. Sometimes If I dont drink water after a day I get sore and my wee is hot. No severe burning tho.  But either way its getting me depressed, All this from a dam wee infection. I am due again to see the specialist. Why would my wee hole be sore, to the point I can not have sexual relations. Its been 5-6 months now, And I honestly feel like Ill never be normal again. Ill never have a normal sex life.

IS THERE ANY PEOPLE ON HERE WHO HAVE BEEN CURED?

There must be a light at the end of the tunnel.

My consultant is Mr Sam Liu- Staffordshire.

Does anyone suggest any alternative therapies?  Chinese medicine? ect. Willing to try anything.

I am a great believer of alternate natural therapies, look at the world and the people who live for longer years and without cancers and other western ailments, the reason natural alternatives are not flooding the market mainstream is simple because no big names will invest money in doing test studies and may people are afraid to try and have all the belief that medicine and operations will fix things. I dont say stop dr advice or cancel that operation what I do say is research and educate yourself. many video online sites have answers about all things. You say you seen drs tried antibiotics etc etc and still no good result, time to try natural help and see. Many things Ive used for 1 thing or another work.Good luck

Thanks for the reply, i now have an appointment today with a Chinese doctor, speaking to her she said she has encountered alot of women with this problem and she says she can heal me. She thinks I still have the infection and that its become resistant to westen anti biotics. She claims she can help so Im keeping fingers and toes crossed that she might be able to help me. Ill post again what was said.

Thanks...

so glad to have found people that have similar symptoms, i have been told that its a UTI, it could be my digestion, i have had a cystoscopy and a  colonoscopy done and i have been to the obgyn. I was given these pills that make my pee turn orange which helps the pain. After i was done having my cystoscopy done the pain i had in my uretha from him doing the surgery was the same pain that i had been feeling, my doctor after wards told me it was all in my head. The issues are a discomfort, sometimes when i have sexual intercourse it make it uncomfortable, i have to sit on the toilet and that the only way i feel any better, this has been a problem for me for years i havent been able to be in school or places that i cant just run to the bathroom. If i drink soda it sometimes seems to make it worse. If i drink alot of water it will sometimes make it feel better. it seems as if everyone here is experiencing the same issues so i hope that something is found.

I have been about six months without any problems now. I had been to a urologist, had a cystoscopy, hadthis TENS-program. Nothing helped. Tried the cranberry and d-mannose (this helped slightly, so it seemed). Finally my GP suggested to start with cerazette, just in case it had something to do with endometriosis. It took about three to four months before everything started to calm down and now I feel great. No more pain at all.

I gained a few pounds with cerazette, but nothing drastic. It might be I gained those pounds from lying around the house all day and doing nothing because of the pain. I have been taking cerazette now for almost a year and I think, for me, that solved the whole problem. Just wanted to let you know.
