I have pain which radiates across the width of my shoulders and down my spine. This is associated with partial numbness in both shoulders, the left shoulder has an almost constant "burning" sensation (especially if under strain while carrying something or extended above my head) The right side shoulder has a constant numbness, when pressure is applied it is like being touched through very thick cotton wool. If I sit in one position for prolonged periods of time or with pressure against the back of the thigh/calf (like if I hang my legs over the side of my bed), there is an almost instant sensation of hot pins & needles & partial numbness which takes anywhere from 10 - 30 mins to ease after changing position or massaging the leg.
