I just had total hysterectomy. Doctors removed my uterus along with cervix and fallopian tubes. Procedure went well and I started to feel great relief because I was terrified before hysterectomy.

Then, all of sudden, I felt this constant, annoying pain in my anus. It seems like its worsening by every day. It's not that sharp, but it is repetitious like toothache. Very boring feeling, I must admit.

I don't know is this normal or what? My appointment with ob-gyn is scheduled next week, but I would like to know answer before that. Can you recommend any pain relievers which is safe for me in my current state?

Hello, Barbra.

I hate that I have to say this, but it could be very serious. You must go to your ob-gyn as soon as possible. Don't wait next week. You need to be examined before anyone can say what is wrong. Only then you can get right diagnose.

Maybe it's something safe but that area is very sensitive so I recommend urgent visit.

Because it's very delicate matter, restrain yourself from taking pain relievers without consultation with your ob-gyn first.

Wish you good luck!
