Have you thought that this pain comes from your liver? My husband has had a constant pain like the one you describe and after months of investigation, an ultrasound diagnosed a "fatty liver". I told him to keep a diary of what he eats and if and when the pain is worse. I didn't know that he had stopped taking his statin for high cholesterol because of side effects and clearly this was effecting his liver. So, since he has been careful not to eat food with a high fat content his pain is getting better.

I remember reading in natural remedies that these pains can be caused by a magnesium deficiency. I cut out almost all foods to get my gut working better, and got these pains again, so I looked up possible causes. I know magnesium has to be taken with K2 and Vitamin D. I do not take it with calcium as that does not work for me. I get calcium from food rather than supplements.

Is it a burning pain?

Possibly a strain while falling and reaching out with right arm? Just did that yesterday when I tripped over a dog toy and had to catch myself as I fell to grab couch arm. Rest, ice and stretching usually helps.
