Hi all, I remembered what it was. It's called Hydradenitus supprativa. AKA: HS. If you Google it, and go to images it will show some pics that, of course are the extreme. I hope this has been helpful.

Like I said, it's Hydradenitus supprativa. Cut way back on caffeine as it appears to be exacerbated by it, that will help for starters. Then find a doc that's not as ignorant.

Hello everyone who is experiencing this problem, it is usually diagnosed by a dermatologist as a scalp infection, usually prescribed antibiotics, your family doctor doesn't study the scalp much and probably doesn't know what's going on with you, I had the same thing and they went away after antibiotics. Hope this helps.

I have celiac disease and I get these sore pimple like places several times a year. I have found it is best not to interfere with them in anyway as it just makes them worse. I have thought they were a mild form of dermatitis herpetiformis. Check to see if you have other symptoms of celiac disease and you may find that is the answer to your health concerns.

Folliculitis is a common skin condition in which hair follicles become inflamed. It's usually caused by a bacterial or fungal infection. At first it may look like small red bumps or white-headed pimples around hair follicles — the tiny pockets from which each hair grows. The infection can spread and turn into nonhealing, crusty sores.
The condition isn't life-threatening, but it can be itchy, sore and embarrassing. Severe infections can cause permanent hair loss and scarring.

Hidradenitis suppurativa affects at least 1 percent of the population. Hidradenitis suppurativa (hi-drad-uh-NIE-tis sup-yoo-ruh-TIE-vuh) is a chronic skin condition that features pea-sized to marble-sized lumps under the skin. Also known as acne inversa, these deep-seated lumps typically develop where skin rubs together — such as the armpits, groin, between the buttocks and under the breasts.
The lumps associated with hidradenitis suppurativa are usually painful and may break open and drain foul-smelling pus. In many cases, tunnels connecting the lumps will form under the skin.
Hidradenitis suppurativa develops when hair follicles become blocked and inflamed. It's not known why this blockage occurs, but a number of factors — including hormones, genetics, cigarette smoking and excess weight — may all play a role
