You may not think you are stressed or bothered or worried about something, it can be an event that is new in your life to a death in the immediate family. I have dealt with stress bumps around my back scalp and sides of neck for 16 years. It started when my brother committed suicide and it was so bad I bought bottles of Scalpicin and poured it down in my scalp and neck, it was the only relief.
Now, I'm a single mom. Concerned about some bills and a change in my career is all it takes for me to have a flare up again. They will be much worse if I touch them, so I have been keeping Witch Hazel around, cheaper, and I genourously for 30 mins or more soak cotton balls and soak them up. This will take the redness out and the only thing that helps me. But don't pick at them! It's hard to do when you are stressed. Taking long epsom salt baths will relax you and dry them up.
If someone finds a cure please tell me!! They only come up when I'm stressed. I hope this helps someone.
