I am 50 years. My lump has been diag. as a absecess. It hurt so bad I could not walk. I walked around for 7 days hurting, when I went to the doctor they said it was hard and I had to get a MRI he said it felt like a Mass....sent me home but by the next day I was in so much pain I went to the ER the test came back no Mass but a absecess. I was rushed into surgery to have it removed.
Recovery is going to be at least 2 weeks.

I am 15 years old about to be 16 and I have a lump at the end of my vagina. Its more in the middle rather than on the left or right. I am sexually active and i have told my mother. She is taking me to the doctor. But, the lump is very painful. I am bigger in size and am known to have yeast. But this does not feel like it. I have been in so much pain here lately that i cry every time i use the restroom. Wiping hurts really bad. I have no clue how to handle this till my doctors appointment.

Hi, Had one of these a few years ago, its called a Fistula and needs a permanent drain put in by a Doctor or Surgeon, it eventually clears, I know its quite frightening, but I do not have the problem any more, the drain was in for 6 months, it is uncomfortable, but it worked! Hope this is of some help. Libby

Could be a boil, bacterial infection

I have a small, approx. 1cm diameter lump in almost exactly the center between the vulva and anus, but on the left side, it's a bit pinkish and hurts when I wipe, for a little bit after I wipe and when it's touched. I am a virgin and 13 and I just want to know if it's possibly dangerous or if it's probably just something that'll go away after a couple of days, Thanks.

I had a lump in the same area that started off small then after about a week it seemed to grow very quickly over night.  It became very painful.  I had my bf take a look at it and we decided it best that I go to the ER because it was getting very big and was so painful I could barely sleep.  They told me that it was likely due to a blocked hair folicle and they had to lance and drain it and gave me a 10 day cycle of antibiotics.  There was also a cyst inside about the size of a nickel.  It was most unpleasent.  I have waxed and shaved the area before and have had ingrown hairs that have grown into rather large bumps but none like this.  Unfortunately I couldnt see the area well enough to try to remove the ingrown hair before it got so bad.  So if you have a bump in your nether region that you cant get a good look at I recommend asking your significant other to have a look and try to remove the hair before it becomes a much bigger problem.

I'm 16, I don't shave this area, and I'm not sexually active. My bump is about this big "___" across. It's skin colored, round, and feels fairly hard. It's not raised very high from the surrounding skin, and it hurts when it's touched and when I wipe. Other than those times it doesn't bother me at all. It's in my bum crack between my bum and vagina, and slightly towards my right side. Anyone have anything similar? And if so, what did you do?

It more than likely is a cyst. They usually pop themselves but if it is painful see a doctor they'll give you anti biotics but if that doesn't help you'll need to go to the hospital where they will make an incision in it to drain it out.
