painful lumps on buttocks

Ok so I have a bump on my butt as well. It hurts really bad. I don't wanna go to the doctor,but reading your stories sort of makes me feel better about going. I did put things on in,but I feels worse everyday. So I'm going to see what I can do. I actually thought I was alone in this. Thanks for helping. :-D

I also have a bump on the top of my buttcrack that doesn't necessarily hurt, but makes it uncomfortable to sit down and drive. I feel like there is pressure inside, it feels a little bit hot, and it throbs a bit. I have been putting rubbing alcohol on the area to keep it clean. It is a raised line that goes horizontally from one side of my buttcrack to the other side, about 2 inches in length. I have finals, AP tests, and the SAT coming up, so I cannot do anything drastic, like surgery. However, I want to get rid of the bump and I am able to go to the doctor if I need to. I'm really bad with pain, and I don't want to undergo a very painful experience! I'm scared, what should I do?

i hope everyone of you have it sorted out by now. Here is my experience with this It developed one day and it pained like hell on this day, I couldn't walk properly nor was able to lie down or sit comfortably. My dad told me to apply an antibiotic cream which I did: Fucidin. It broke late at night when I saw blood on the back of the toilet seat. I kept cleaning for another hour and it has stopped for now. I got rid of the pain using Brufen Retard. Looks okay for now, I hope it goes away soon.

I had this problem too. It didn't hurt that much when it first appeared but after five days it was bigger and painful. When i went to the hospital i found out it was a cyst that was caused by and ingrown hair that had gotten infected. It had caused me to have fevers for the five days and i had to have it lanced and drained. It was a little painful yes but you will feel so much better once it is taken care of i promise you. It's only been one day since i had it done and i feel great. :)

I hadd that and I popped that sh*t like 10 minutes ago. It smelt terrible band I was bleeding a lot but it feels better to walk but I haven't tried laying down because it keep me up all night that's how much it hurt idk what it is though........

It does feel better i know but you should really have it looked at by a doctor otherwise it will just keep coming back. The smell is because it is filled with pus and a doctor needs to clean it out.

I have the same thjing for 3 days now..and its only getting worst. When i sit in a position for a little while the pain is not that much. but when I have get up rr sit and move or lie on my back even putting on my shoes..it killin gme with pain. I have never experience this before. And i am scared that when i go to the doctors they squeeze because even if I put my fingers to touch it..it hurts tremendously. I'm puttin ghot water with a wash cloth over it. But nothing helps. This is the worst ever. I don't wish it on no one. Its hard around the area and painfail!!!!!!!

How long does it last for?..And what will the doctor do?

i am a 17 yr old boy and i have something like this on my right cheek. when i feel how big it is, i can feel the pus of whatever it is is about the size of a quarter. its been present for awhile and its veryyyy uncomfortable, especially sitting in school. please help, im too embarrasses to go to doctor

i had the same thing when i was 17. now at 51 it is still very vidid in my mind because of how painful it was. what i had was something called

a polynidal (not sure of the spelling, this is how it sounds). see a doctor

asap because it get so much worse with time.

Hi i am a 16 year old boy and i have a thing similer to that but it is just below my scrotum where it begins with my butcrack and it feels like a big ball under my skin it hurts like hell and i dont know what to do about it. it seems to get bigger and bigger and more painful. i think it is a infection but i dont know for shure. i have always been for my hole life had constipation and i dont know if that is a contributer to it or not but yea i really need some info on this thanks.

I had a polo dial cyst at the base of my tailbone in college. They are more common in people who sit a lot, and can run in families. My brother and sister both had one. The doctor told me to see a surgeon, but it ruptured before the appointment, and I ended up in the ER. They drained it there with a small incision and stuffing it with a thin strip of gauze. It was explained as a tract system, and if not removed they will get reinfected. I ended up having a surgeon remove it a few weeks after the infection healed. It has not come back in over ten years.

You are right I have had that and I had an operation to get removed the sooner you do it the better because they can grow and expand and get infected, it's basically an ingrown hair which has grown inward and has developed into a cyst sure its gross but it's super common and painful nothing to b embarrassed about!

i have multipal small red bumps at the top of my butt crack it takes a shape of a "v" and its very itchy and very painful, my clothes cant touch it nothing really can cause of all the pain. my family says its a rash but i dnt think so cuz yeterday it was jus one bump n now its too many to count. i thought at 1st it was a insect bite like spiders cuz i sleep in a basement but now im afraid its sumthing worse.

I have a bump/lump at the top of my butt crack. I don't know what to do im to embarrassed to tell my parents (I'm only 13) I don't know what to do. It is quite big, it's red and it's painful to walk, run, jump, sit down, lie down ect. I've been looking online but I don't know what it is so I don't know how to find out what it is. It's sore to touch it. Putting on shoes hurts so much it makes me want to cry. I'm really worried and don't know what I should do:/
