You have to be precise about the pains you feel in your stomach? Are these the typical abdominal cramps which you feel before you get your period or is it something linked to constipation and bloating, as you mentioned swelling of the stomach and you find it hard to pass the stool.
If it is just cramps due to your PMS, I can only say that this is very natural and you shouldn’t worry as long as the cramps are light. As soon as the pain begins to be more heavy, you immediately go visit your gynecologist. Maybe you are one of these girls that have such painful periods and these could also cause back pain. The pain may begin several days before or just at the start of your period. It generally subsides as menstrual bleeding tapers off.
What you could do to help yourself is putting heating pad to your lower abdomen, take warm showers or baths, drink hot beverages, eat light and frequent meals etc etc.
You have to pay a good attention to what is going on and even you could make notes so that you can be sure about your menstrual cycle, as you said it is pretty irregular.

A lot of women go on the birth control pill to regulate periods and it also helps to ease painful periods. You have a few of the symptoms of Endometriosis, it might be a good idea to see a doctor about it

Why do some girls have pain in their abdomen during periods, whereas others go through this phase easily without pain? Does it depend on the age of the female or the size of the abdomen? The abdominal pain depends on what?
