hey im suffering from sharp pains in the left side of my lower abdomen, the pains last for 3 seconds and occur randomly. i don't know what they may be. advice?

My advice would be to see a gyn for examination or maybe an ultrasound to see what is going on. How long has this been happening?
It could be a benign ovulation cramping or maybe even an ovarian cyst but it could also be an ectopic pregnancy and so many other causes.
You never really can tell without a check-up.
