I've been getting palpitations on and off for a year. The doctor had me wear a monitor and told me that it was normal but I have extra beats in my upper chamber of my heart. What does this mean. I'm a very nervous person but this getting me scared. I am 60 years old and have never had any major heart problem. I take Avapro for high blood pressure for the past 5 years. Please someone give me advice.
