I had my gall bladder removed 13 days ago all went well apart from after effects of the anaesthetic (i.e. feeling generally unwell, run down and emotional!) I tend to suffer more from constipation now as opposed to outbreaks of diarrhea, but am trying to control this by eating more fruit and veg and upping my fluid intake.However yesterday I started getting really bad palpitations and am getting them again today. These attacks last for quite a while, also for the first few days after the op I suffered with involuntary sighing (almost like a sharp gasp of breath) This probably sounds really bizarre but it's the only way I can describe it. I just wondered if any one else had these symptoms and if so how long will they last. ?
