Some scientists are now suggesting that paratuberculosis is the cause of crohn's disease and other inflammations of the digestive tracts! I guess that we should not rule that out, as a cause has never been found behind crohn's disease... What are your views about this theory? I don't know enough about it yet, so I haven't formed any firm opinions yet.

yes. There are many articles that say there is link between tuberculosis and crohn's. The immune cells of the body recognise the bacterium present in the intestines which is their normal hiding place. The immune cells start attacking its own body i.e. the intestines instead of the bacteria and hence the inflammation of the intestines.
