Just wanted to say I'm in pain right now. I know this thread is old, but to all the ones that thought they had solved they're problems from all they went though I'm so sorry. I have something you may wanna look up since everything but your bladder is gone. Its called interstitial cystitis, has all the symptoms, and after all ya went though hope you all find something that helps, and me too gotta definately go to doc. Take care

I have this pressure/tightness/cramps in my pelvic area and it is day 20 of my cycle. I have endo and am not on meds because I had a presacral neurectomy in 2005 which helped immensely with my back pain and pelvic pain. However in the last year my pain in my pelvis is worse. I almost feel like i am having a period but am not. Any advice? I am getting upset tummy and gas too.

Ok that is to weird! I didnt even know this wasnt normal!!! I mean I did, but it sstarted happening to me after i had surgery to get my kidney stone removed!!It hurts to sit, it hurts to stand and when i walk i feel so much pressure in my lower belly i feel like everything is going to fall out!!! BUt when i dont get them sensations, I have a burning and itching sensation on the outside of my groin area! I have problems with bowel movements also! I have used lots of creams, azo tablets, vagisil and numerous other products!!! Has nayone found out what is causin this?

I am 19 years old and i have never had sex. But for the past 4 years i get a shooting pain in my vagina and it makes it imposible to sit or walk. Does anyone know what is wrong with me?

Hi I’m 19 years old & I’ve got the same problem, it’s been happening for the last few years. It first started out as a 3 second sharp stabbing pain shooting through my pelvis area, (WHEN IM NOT HAVING MY PERIOD) so it’s not period pain. now it’s at the stage were its lasting 30 second to the point I’m in tears unable to move & am just screaming for my partner to help me. But once the pain passes I’m fine, it’s like it never happened. A while ago was the worst its ever been I got my nails done acrylic nails or whatever their called & it was the first time I’ve ever had fake nails (so I thought that maybe I was allergic to the glue or something?) & after they were done I was driving home and the pain was so strong & bad I ran my car off the road couldn’t move, had no phone, no one around & the stabbing pain was that painful & the pressure was so bad it felt like I needed to pee immediately (which never happens as I have a very strong bladder) but I couldn’t even get out of the car & the pain was that bad I actually sat in my car trying to pee myself because I thought it could stop the pain even a little bit, but I couldn’t even pee at all, so I was stuck in my car like this for a good 20 minutes till it finally passed & when I finally picked up my partner he told me that were going to emergency but I said there was no point, as I don’t have any health insurance. I’ve been to the doctors about this before & they put the camera up inside & found a cist on my right ovary but they said it was fine & they didn’t remove it, my mother in law (who had her ovaries removed because of cervical cancer) reckons it’s because I don’t have private health, then I went to the doctors again & they just said."I don’t know what it could be" without even doing a blood test or looking at anything. ha great doctors we have. So for now I’ve just given up on wasting my time on doctors & am just putting up with it for now. If anyone can help please let me know.

I started experiencing the same symptoms about a year ago and it only happens a week or two before I start my monthly cycle. It is a horrible sharp stabbing pain that starts in the abdomen down to the vaginal area and it literally stops me in my tracks. It's literally paralizing for the 5 or 10 minutes it last and then it's gone. I would really like an accurate opinion on what is causing this.

Glad i found this page as i'm suffering from this horrible pressure feeling on my right side and goes down to my pelvic area. Its hard to describe but its like a very tight feeling and fullness in this area. I'm also having to go to the toilet alot more and i just feel so much pressure. Ive not been to the doctors yet but will need to get it sorted as i'm worried about it. Its not sore just very uncomfortable. Does anyone know what it could be? was wondering if any of the previous posts found out what was causing this pressure feeling? I hope someone can help me. I suffer from IBS as well and not sure if this is whats causing it or its something else. Hope someone can help me.

hi i have the same symtoms and i am 23 i had a baby two years ago..... i know im not pregnant bc i have had a full 4day period since i had him... but my back hurts with it so i thought it was from my period at first.. but it has only gotten worse.. i am very scared... it does feel like contractions it actually hurts worse.... it hurts when i sit.. i took some pamprin like i said thinking it was period cramps but im not due to have my perios until 2 more weeks... please if u know anything let me know... i am a single mom and cant afford to get sick..

I have had some of the same problems. I was in a public place and almost fell over from the pain when it started. It felt like someone was stabbing me in the pelvic area and I felt shooting pain down my vagina. Thought I had to do a number 2 as well and that was a mistake, I was sweating the pain was so intense. Went to the doctor the next day seems I have a UTI (urinary tract infection). The odd thing is I have had these before and NEVER even felt any pain from it. I have been on antibiotics now for two days and the DR said I would feel better by Friday. The pain is a little duller, but has not gone away. The DR said if the pain continues she would order an ultrasound. I've had ovarian cysts and the pain wasn't this bad either. This is actually worse than childbirth and I've had 3 kids. If anyone has any ideas let me know. It hurts like a SOB. Good luck to all of you as well.

Well at least I am glad to see that I am not alone with these issues...I am not glad however, that no one in the medical field seems to be able to offer most of us much help. I had a hysterectomy in 2006, but still have my ovaries, and I have been getting these pains that are like being stabbed/shot in the vagina and sometimes rectum, and in my lower abdomen/pelvic area. I had a nasty bacterial infection back in spring of 2010, and have wondered if this is perhaps Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. Unfortunately any info on PID I get ties it in with uterus and fallopian tubes, gonorhea and chlamydia...I know I had no actual STD's, as I get tested, and for a while I was getting tested quite regularly because I was single and had more than one partner, eventhough when I was going through this phase I always protected myself with condoms, I still would get checked regularly for peace of mind, especially when I ended up with that infection. I am not worried about infertility issues, as I had a hysterectomy and am unable to have more children anyway...I would however like to know what causes these horrible pains and cramping, and then try to find a way to get rid of these symptoms once and for all if possible. These pains are so bad it nearly takes me to the floor, however they are not constant or consistent, and they come and go like nothing. MYSTERY!!

I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago. about 8 months after I was experiencing severe pain in my abdomen, pelvic area back. I too was in ortho tri-cyclen and experienced the same effects... huge clots come out... that scared me... and was very painful..i switched to the ring and have never experienced this again....
