I know how you feel, I'm pretty much in the same boat. I've been just about everywhere to look for answers. This is our 4th month ttc. My last AF was on Nov 10. I was suppose to start on the 7th but nothing. We did the BD on the 18, 21 and 24 of the week that I O. About a week later I had cramping that come and went for about 4 or 5 days. I took a htp in the afternoon of the 7th but it turned out neg. Now that my AF is days late and got neg I don't know what to think. I'm going to be testing again at the end of the week. I had the same problem haha my boyfriend and we're trying for a few months and in may of last year I was late. I was late by about 10-12 days when i went to the doctor and requested a hospital pregnancy test and that came back negative! I didn't know if something was wrong with me or what haha it ended up taking almost a month for it to registar on a test! So after about 5 inconclusive home tests (where neither a positive nor negative showed up) and one negative hospital test I finally got a positive home test which I later confirmed with a positive hospital test haha I asked my doctor why it didn't show up earlier (as I was pregnant during the negative tests) and he said that with some women it takes longer for the hormone levels to be strong enough to show up....hope this helps some!!!

When I was pregnant for the first time I could not get a positive read for about a week or two after my missed period. I had to have taken at least 3 home tests all negative before two positives. I think I had low HcG levels because I actually ended up misscarrying at week 13. This could have been why I had low levels for a while before being able to get a positive?? Who knows, but best of luck.

Professionals advice that it can take a minimum of 3 weeks since your last episode of sexual intercourse before an accurate preg test can be obtained. Also in my practice as a family planning nurse, I have found that stress can delay periods also! You need to work out your cycle and how many days long it is, it is widely accepted that ovulation occurs 14 prior to your period; give or take a day. So work out ur cycle and get back to me and can help maybe with some family planning advice.

I am now officially late also. My boyfriend and i have been trying for about 2 months now. Last month my period was a little weird. Usually lasting for 2 to 3 days and extremely heavy. But this time it was light and had mostly a clear looking fluid coming out with the rest. It just wasn't right. My periods are also on time unless i'm really stressing out and even then i have only been late for about 2/3 days. I've gotten very sick to my stomache, tender breasts, period like cramps, swollen abdomin and my boyfriend says that my breast have grown which i can kind of tell but i don't see that much of a difference. I've tested several times and still negative. I'm taking another in the morning but not getting my hopes up. I keep telling myself that i'm not just so i don't get all worked up when it comes back negative again. The wait is killing me! I'm ready for it to come back positive! Any suggestions on helping fertility along?

I have always had irregular, if not absent periods. I waw put on clomid and following an ovulation check after the first cycle, it showed that i did in fact ovulate and i had a period on day 30.
This is my second cycle and I am on day 39, no period and a negative pregnancy test (done at 10pm on day 31). I have no symptoms such as nausea...I am very tired, but that could be low iron?
Is it possible that I didnt ovulate on cycle 2, even though i did on cycle 1? or, alternatively, could i still be pregnant, even though i had a negative test result on day 31 and have no symptoms?

yeah, i know what your going through- me and my husband tried for a whole freaking year to get pregnant and when we did, we lost the baby... that was in July... I've never been more than 2 days late for my period and i'm now going on 9 days late but I've taken 3 hpt and they have all come back negative, but I'm feeling sick in the morning, i'm excesivly tired and i'm almost always nausus! And I know what it's like not to get being pregnant off your mind- its all you can think about, all you want to think about and you won't relax until you know for sure. I'd say go to your doctor and ask for a blood test- those are pretty much 100% right cuz they can detect smaller levels of HGC than hpt can.... good luck to all of us who really wanna be pregnant!

I have taken my first month of clomid. I had the hot flashes and the whole thing. My period is 10 days late. I took a urine pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. We have been trying for 15 months now with no luck. Regular cycles - almost bang on the hour my period arrives - but this month I am 3 days late. Have had weird crampy pains ( like period pains), feeling a bit sick - partic when traveling which never bothers me usually, sore breasts BUT so far 3 BFN's...... It is driving me demented already. I see that loads of you have had the same thing but did it end up that you were pregnant after all???? Please help!!

To all of you who are wondering about the postivie result after multiple negatives. I took a test on days 3, 5, and 7 being late. All were negative. Then I took another test a week later, still negative. It was driving me crazy and I felt like I was pregnant but still had not gotten a positive. Week3 still late took another test, finally a positive. I could not believe it so I took one late that same day. Still positive! I had my doctors appointment about 2 1/2 weeks later and she confirmed I was pregnant but the changed my due date to 2 weeks later than I calculated. My baby is now 16 months old and very happy and healthy. Now I am again late with another negatvie test. I will probably wait for another week before taking another test just because that is what happened the first time. Good Luck to everyone! :-D

SOmetimes it take up to a month before your hormones get to the point before you can detect them with a urine test, so I think that this is a great idea to point out this fact. I'm so glad to hear that your baby is healthy and happy, and all the best to you. Thanks for your insight!
