I am 13 years old and I have the same problem. Nobody knows because I have learned to hide it. It is like you don't even know you're doing it because it's the norm. For the first 11 years of my life I grew up in an abusive environment. When I got out and away with the abuse, of course I went to counseling but I guess it wasn't enought so I started picking at my head. After 6 months of picking I started eating. I see nothing wrong with it, now my boyfriend knows and he accepts it. I may need help but just not yet.

deal breaker over that? and you call yourself a strong woman?
42 and married for 2 years means you divorced (probably multiple times) or you were unable to. Both scenarios indicate to me that you're far from perfect.
If you consider him your husband, whom you supposedly professed to love, then actually love him and try to help him. Otherwise, keep floating around in life, looking for reasons to be a b***h to others while thinking you're somehow faultless.
