There's nothing strange going on here; no miscarriage or what have you. It's the uterine-lining shedding (the 'piece of meat' is usually slimy and looks like a piece of liver). I too have the same thing happen to me (cramps and all) and so do a lot of females. My sister and I usually call this process 'giving birth' because it signals the end of our mini-'pregnancies' (with the bloating, nauseu, exhaustion, etc). I used to think it was the disintegrated egg being released; however, the ovum is so small (about the size of a dot) that you wouldn't even notice in all that blood. Anyway, don't panic...it's more prevelant and normal than one would think.

I have endometriosis and I have the meaty looking clots also I am devastated about this I am worried I want be able to have anymore kids. I only have 1 daughter and I want a boy. All these years I have been complaining to the Dr. about stomach and lower back pains all they would tell me is I have novarion cyst and now I have been in pain for over a month and just finding out where all this pain is coming from. So my advice to you is if you are passing meaty stuff then you may want to ask your Dr. about Endometriosis desease before it damages you from having kids
