Hi, I'm sure I have a pilonidal dimple, and I've done lot of surfing about this on the internet. I'm 16, haven't told anyone about this condition. So far, I have 2 holes/dimples. I have a small bump which hurts a little when I slouch. The holes release some pinkish/brownish liquid everyday. I'm quite hairy all over. My questions to you are, at what stage of this problem am I? do I NEED to see a doctor? Should I shave the surrounding area? Will this ever get to an acute/dangerous stage? If so, how long do I have? Is there a method through which I could prevent it from getting worse? I really really don't want to tell anyone about this. Thank you.
