if they keep coming back especially in the same spot i think it might be a molluscum wart, it's not an STD, but u still have to get treated for it so they go away.

Hey, you idiots who say you've had unprotected OR PROTECTED sex, GO TO A DOCTOR. Herpes is extremely contagious and condoms can't protect you from it in many cases. It is transmitted by skin to skin contact. No penetration is necessary, and the area around your penis or vagina is still susceptible even if you are using protection.
Also, ANY kind of wart is contagious, period. Warts are caused by a virus. Don't be fooled because some id**t tells you it's not an STD. If its on your genitals, then you probably will catch or transmit it during sex.
Christ people, read a damn book once in a while.
You m****s are the reason why up to 50% of all active teens and adults have genital warts, and why 1 in 4 of you have herpes. Many of you don't even know you have it.

If there are small bumps and have hairs growing out the middle of them and its not just all over your junk....its probably Folliculitis or an infection of the hair follicles. you may even have a few on your man stick if your a hairy dude. I'd probably go to the doctor and get some antibiotics to get rid of the infection. its never bad to just have them look at it. they can usually tell if its the herpes or something. Good Luck : %-)

i have little bumps on my penis i am a virgin but i masturbate quite often and i have these little bumps on my shaft about the size of a head on a pin and there is more than 50 of them and i am worried about what it is can someone help me out

Hey guys, don't worry it's not a big thing. It's a common infection in the hair follicules called falliculitis, most likely. It's caused by a lot of sweat in that area. Washing it with soap and water and a wash cloth or loofah sponge should do the trick. If you are still concerned visit your nearest doctor. But chances are that's what it is.
Good luck :-)

I have the same problem but it's two of them. One is a bit bigger than the other and wasn't painful at all until I tried to pop it lol Stupid move now it hurts a bit but I'm 99% positive that it's not an STD or STI as My girlfriend doesn't have anything and I'm NOT a cheater. Unless I got it from a toilet seat while we were camping... o.O

Hey. I am copying and pasting this from another site. I have been through this many times. Its not related to anything sexual. It sounds exactly like and ingrown hair which is so annoying. Read this:
Hello Friend,
Based on your description, I feel confident in saying it is more than likely an ingrown hair follicle. This is esp true if they are of rapid onset. This is nothing more than an infected follicle that will heal by itself or if too bothersome, you can pinch the area to force it to come to a head same as a facial pimple and use tweezers (dip in alcohol first) to withdraw the hair which has more than likely encircled itself in the lump.
As far as prevention, get some facial scrub like Neutrogena scrub and vigorously scrub under arms and bikini line area twice a week. If you notice any ingrowns hairs, you can attempt to squeeze and pluck them out and they will then heal spontaneoulsly. If you happen to be waxing, this practice actually promotes the problem, but can be treated as above. Also, try not to wear extremely constrictive clothing, as this may make matters worse. Allow your skin to "breath". In addition, be sure to use an alcohol based astringent and swab affected areas daily.
In the event that it enlarges and does not appear to be infectious in origin, you may consider visiting your PCP or dermatologist. If you are able to move the lump and it does not seem to be securely rooted in place, it should subside on its own. In the event that you are continuously afflicted with these complaints, may want to ask your dr about a low dose antibiotic such as tetracycline, esp if facial area is also involved. Good luck and LMK if you require addtional info

I have reason to believe it is possible my last girlfriend and/or last partner had herpes. the girlfriend denied it up and down though.
I have what looks like pimples in my pubic hair.. before those though I had some bumps on my thigh, where apparently herpes often occurs (at least that's what stuff I have been reading says). I figured they were more like staph infections. it started as one, then came another. then came a bump in my pubic hair, then another.
the bumps on my leg had a dark red to black head on them and were large and painful. the skin around them was not very red. I have always had problems with acne and other skin problems. I assumed these were staphylococcus.
but then came the bump in my pubic hair. it too had a dark head, at least after I popped it, I think it might have had a white head at first. it has been there at least a few days now and is going away, but still has a black head on it and is red and about the size of a small pencil eraser. the area around the red bump is not red. I hoped it was an ingrown hair, but after popping it, a few days later I got another bump a couple of cm/in away. this one burns/hurts slightly and does not have the dark head the others have, it looks more like herpes: small with a tiny white head. looks like a tiny blister or pimple. I am very worried but don't want to go to a doctor. I am trying not to pop it in case it spreads the infection.
any advice?

Umm... to those guys who have lumps and bumps on the pubic hair area, yeah that is most likely just an ingrown hair/lymph node/spot pr something that will go away in time. To the guy who said he had one on his penis...I'd say you have herpes. 20% of sexually active people have it, and many don't have any symptoms so can pass it on to other people without even knowing. You could have got it years ago, you'll never know. It's not something to worry about, unless you have an outbreak (god help you) in which case you can get treatment. Otherwise, generally you should be fine, and won't even notice, and it's not something you can cure anyway. Good luck!

Well, I'm not sure what it is but I have researching about possibilities of what it may be. It may be fordyce spots, so search pictures of that and see if that is the case. It could be pubic pimples which is common with no STD's but can come with STD's, just says to clean yourself thoroughly with a body wash and a good scrub but DO NOT POP IT!! That will could cause infection. But overall, you should really get it checked out, because if it is an STD, that's serious business and you should start treatment and proper care as soon as possible.
